My name is Joe Giglio - I've been playing guitar non-stop since the age of 10.
I began teaching guitar during my college years.
I have always taught what I know best - this of course is different now than it was 30 years ago.
As a result of my continuous teaching, studying, performing, recording, composing, and music journalism,
I bring to the lessons I teach, a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience.
Much of this knowledge and experience is a result of having worked with people of all ages and interests, all levels of playing from beginner to professional, and a wonderfully diverse cross section of the population.
My experience allows me to quickly get to the root of what works for each individual student.
My teaching style is structured, yet flexible, my demeanor is always upbeat and encouraging,
and my patience is one of my most valued assets.
